Para la materia de Psicología del Habitante Urbano en el 4to. Semestre de la Maestría en Artes Visuales (2010), realicé este flipbook, con objeto de repartirlo en varios puntos de la ciudad y "callar" a todo mundo en una ciudad ya de por sí escandalosa. Baja rápidamente el navegador para reproducir la ilusión del movimiento/ For the Urban Inhabitant subject on the Visual Arts Master's degree (2010), I made this flipbook to be distributed in several strategic points in the city  "shut-up" everybody in an already noisy city. La portada aparenta un libro poco más grande que una hoja A4

/The cover shows a book slightly larger than an A4 paper

El secreto se revela.../The secrets unveils...

... al abrir el libro/... as the book opens

y muestra autorretratos/and shows self-portraits

y la participación de mi hijo/and my son's participation

hasta que el libro está completamente abierto/until the book is wide open

y aún así revela hasta abajo un cartel que se despliega para formar la frase: La megalomanía es monstruosa/and still, in the bottom, a poster unfolds to show the phrase: Megalomania is monstrous

Para el lector, una sorpresa final.../For the reader, a final surprise...

... su propio peine, espejo y cámara descartable para animarle a hacer autorretrato/... his/her own complementary comb, mirror and disposable camera to encourage him/her to take self-portraits

Esta serie de imágenes pertenece a la serie Si yo tuviera un corazón... un homenaje personal al Mago de Oz, en lo futuro también será un libro de artista.

Tinacos/Water containers (Fotografía/Photograph)

Estos tinacos fueron captados con una cámara de lata de té elíptica, por ello se ve tan curva y con una viñeta. Está cámara estenopeica la bauticé como la cámara espía/These water containers were taken with an elliptical tea tin can camera, that's why the picture is bended and with vignetting. This pinhole camera was named the spy camera

Vestigios de mi infancia/Remains of my childhood

Este video fue realizado en 3er. Semestre de la Maestría en Artes Visuales (2009) y son los únicos 18 fotogramas en super 8 que conservo de mi infancia, el niño de la derecha del encuadre soy yo. Los fotogramas están repetidos varias veces/This video was made on the 3rd. term of the Visual Arts Master's degree and they are the only 18 frames on Super 8 that I keep from my childhood, the kid on the right side of the frame is me. The frames are repeated several times
